Top 6 Duel Sim Plus Android Phone In India With Price


It’s no secret that Indians love affordable dual-SIM phones, and smartphone OEMs from China and Korea have been quick to capitalise on this niche. Here are six of the latest Android smartphones with Dual SIM functionality, presently retailing in India

Samsung has launched three new dual-SIM capable Android smartphones in the Indian market. These include the Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy Y Pro Duos and the Galaxy Y Duos. As the names suggest, these devices are the dual-SIM version of the existing Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro. Here is a quick look at their specifications and prices.

Galaxy Ace Duos

This device sports a 3.5-inch display and is powered by an 832 MHz processor. The device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a 5 megapixel rear camera, 1650 mAh battery which provides up to 7 hours of talk time and it is priced at Rs. 16,900.

Galaxy Y Pro Duos

This device sports a physical QWERTY keypad along with a 2.5-inch touchscreen display and powered by an 832 MHz processor. It has a 3 megapixel camera, also runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, has a 1350 mAh batter and it is priced at just Rs. 11,090.

Galaxy Y Duos

This smartphone from Samsung is yet another Android Gingerbread touting smartphone which is powered by an 832 MHz processor. It includes a 3.14-inch display, 3.15 megapixel camera and a 1300 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs. 10,490.

LG brings the Optimus Net

While there has been no official announcement about this smartphone, the Optimus Net from LG has sneaked its way into the Indian market. The LG Optimus Net is an affordable Android smartphone from the company and it is tagged at 9,999 INR. It is soon expected to hit retail stores while online retailer Flipkart will start shipping it in a few days.

Regarding the specifications, it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by an 800MHz processor. The Optimus Net has a 3.2-inch display, 3 megapixel rear camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, expandable memory up to 32GB using microSD card and a 1500 mAH battery. This certainly seems like a good entry-level Android in the market and the HTC Explorer may be one of its biggest competitors, while the Motorola Fire and Fire XT may also give it some challenge

Update: LG has also launched a Dual SIM version of this phone known as the LG Optimus Net Dual P698. It supports dual standby and is priced at Rs. 10,499.

Micromax A75 Smartfone Lite: 3.75 inch dual-SIM Android

Launched in December 2011, Micromax’s latest dual-SIM capable smartphone is a stripped down version of the A85 Superfone. Priced around Rs. 9,000, it’s one of the only phones to integrate a 3.75-inch HVGA display.

The A75 has a 3-megapixel primary camera and a .3 megapixel secondary camera, and supports MicroSD cards of upto 32GB. Powered by a 650 MHz processor, it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and has a 1300 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity options, it supports Bluetooth, A-GPS, Wi-Fi networks, and 3G as well.

Spice Mi-350n: Dual-SIM Android sports 3.5-inch screen at 7.5k

For an entry-level smartphone, the Spice Mi-350n certainly ups the ante with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen and dual-SIM functionality. Powered by a 650 MHz CPU, the phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has a 1400 mAH battery.

Connectivity options include support for GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 3G and Wi-Fi networks. Other features of note include FM radio, a 3.2 megapixel camera on the back, a VGA resolution secondary camera, and support for microSD or microSDHC cards upto 32GB. The retail price of the smartphone is presently around Rs. 7,500.a
